Biography

Overview

Nathan Swire is an associate in the Firm's Intellectual Property group, focused on complex copyright, trademark, and commercial litigation. He advises clients in a variety of sectors including technology, consumer goods, and telecommunications. He is also active in the Firm's Data Privacy and Cybersecurity practice, and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).

Nathan is actively involved in the Firm's pro bono initiatives, including representing inmates challenging the conditions of solitary confinement in state prison, advising veterans on procuring disability benefits, and assisting non-profits with intellectual property issues.

Nathan clerked for the Hon. William G. Young of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts prior to joining White & Case. He is a graduate of Harvard Law School, where he was Editor in Chief of the National Security Journal. Prior to law school, he served as an infantry officer in the United States Army.
