Biography

Overview

Mitchell Hightower is an associate in the Firm's International Arbitration Group. He represents and advises foreign sovereigns and private companies in the resolution of international disputes, including proceedings administered by the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). His experience also includes representation of sovereign clients in U.S. litigation brought under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act (FSIA). He is actively involved in pro bono matters at the Firm, including in immigration-related matters.

Mitchell earned his J.D. from the New York University School of Law. During law school, he served as Senior Executive Editor of the NYU Journal of International Law & Politics and held positions of responsibility with the NYU International Law Society and the Law & Government Society. His experience prior to law school includes working with a global government affairs and public policy firm.
