Overview
Melissa Otoo is an associate in the Firm's capital markets group in Dubai.
Melissa's capital markets experience includes advising sovereign, quasi-sovereign and corporate issuers, as well as banks on a variety of cross-border transactions, including debt capital markets, structured debt, Islamic finance Sukuk transactions and corporate trustee representation. Melissa's transaction experience covers various jurisdictions, including the GCC, Africa, Europe and Asia.

Representative experience includes:
Representation of Moove Africa B.V. as Parent and Obligor on the issuance by Moove Sukuk Company Limited of $30,000,000 of Sukuk trust certificates due 2028, consisting of an initial tranche issued on 7 March 2023 in an aggregate face amount of $15,000,000, followed by a second tranche issued on a subsequent date in an aggregate face amount of $15,000,000.
