Biography

Overview

Marie-Sophie is an associate in our global Investment Funds group based in Dubai. She represents fund sponsors on the structuring, formation and operation of private investment funds across asset classes, and other aspects of private investing in alternative assets, including warehousing arrangements, separate account arrangements and the structuring of executive carried interest and co-investment arrangements.

Marie-Sophie also advises and represents some of the world's largest institutional investors, including multiple Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) pension and sovereign wealth funds, on the deployment of capital into a broad range of investment structures, including open- and closed-ended private funds, co-investments, separate managed accounts and other bespoke investment platforms.

She also regularly provides advice on corporate and regulatory matters relating to the operation of international asset managers and financial institutions, including advising in relation to compliance with local and cross-border requirements.

US $1 billion private equity fund domiciled in the Cayman Islands targeting healthcare facilities across the MENA region.*

SAR1.1 million real estate fund targeting real estate investments in Saudi Arabia.*
