Lucas is a commercial litigation associate based in the Firm's New York office. He supports clients in a broad range of matters, including complex commercial disputes and bankruptcy litigation. Lucas is also an active member in the Firm's pro bono practice, focusing on civil and human rights advocacy.
Prior to joining White & Case, Lucas served as a judicial law clerk in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
Lucas graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he focused his studies on civil litigation and international law. During law school, he served as a Senior Articles Editor for the Minnesota Law Review and as a student director of the Human Rights Litigation and International Advocacy Clinic.
