Overview

Laurence is a Senior Associate in the firm's Project Development and Finance Group, a global team dedicated to providing business and strategic advice to clients in relation to the financing and completion of major projects.

Laurence advises financiers, borrowers, sponsors and governments on the development and financing of major energy and infrastructure projects. Laurence has particular experience in the financing and development of renewable energy projects across Australia, Africa, the EMEA region and the UK.

Experience

Acting for lenders on the refinancing of the existing Tilt Renewables portfolio debt.

Advising Atmos Renewables on its green loan portfolio refinancing of its Australian wind and solar assets. 

Advising Bright Energy Investments on its AUD $495 million portfolio refinancing of its operational renewable energy assets in Western Australia.

Acting for lenders on the Palisade Investment Partners' $869 million wind and solar portfolio refinancing.

Advising a consortium of lenders on the US$ 653 million financing of 13 solar power projects in Egypt with an aggregate capacity of 752MW.*

Advising senior lenders on the refinancing of the Almaty International Airport in Kazakhstan.*

Advising lenders on the financing of the Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm project in the North Sea with an installed capacity of 1075MW.*
