Kara Maynard Guio

Kara Maynard Guio is an associate in White & Case's Debt Finance practice in New York. Her practice focuses primarily on the representation of major commercial banks, investment banks, private equity sponsors, funds and corporate borrowers in connection with secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities, leveraged acquisition financings, recapitalization transactions, and other debt financing transactions both domestic and global in nature.

Prior to joining White & Case, Kara had a career in finance. Most recently she worked as a Global Asset and Wealth Management analyst for a leading investment banking company. There, she evaluated client suitability, global economic data and current financial market trends to implement personalized equity, fixed income and alternative strategies for client portfolios. Additionally, Kara was a senior financial analyst for a multinational financial services corporation that specializes in payment cards. There she developed and implemented licensing partnerships with third party banks to issue branded cards throughout Latin America—focusing on Colombia, Argentina & Mexico.
