Juliann Susas

Juliann is a member of White & Case's Tech Disputes practice group sitting in Los Angeles. Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation and regulatory disputes across global jurisdictions involving cutting-edge technology and media issues, including privacy, data protection, freedom of expression, content regulation, defamation, and intermediary liability claims.

Domestically, Juliann is deeply focused on product counseling for developers of artificial intelligence (AI) tools by partnering with clients to design products in a way that will comply with legislative developments such as Colorado's AI Act and state legislation focused on automated decisionmaking technology.

Juliann earned her JD from UCLA School of Law, where she completed the Media, Entertainment, Technology, and Sports Law specialization and graduated Order of the Coif. During law school, Juliann served as a Student Clinician in the Documentary Film Legal Clinic and received the Masin Family Academic Excellence Gold Award in Information Privacy and Data Protection.
