Overview

Jean Renaldy is an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Practice, based in Singapore.

Indonesian by background, he has spent the past 8 years practicing in London advising clients on cross-jurisdictional matters involving the US, Europe, Africa, Middle East and APAC. Jean has also spent time working in our New York office and on secondment with the legal team at private equity sponsor Antin Infrastructure Partners.

Jean has experiences on a broad range of private equity and corporate transactions for various clients including private equity sponsors, sovereign wealth funds and portfolio companies, including advice in connection with capital structures, consortia coinvestment terms, equity recapitalisations, management equity incentive schemes, international reorganisations, strategic acquisitions and exits/disposals.

A Singapore headquartered private equity firm in its investment in PT ABC Kogen Dairy, a vertically integrated dairy manufacturer producing yogurt and milk products under the brand "KIN" which also operates as one of the largest and the only A2-cow dairy farm in Indonesia.

An Indonesian family conglomerate in the sale process of a listed Indonesian entity with mining operations.

Indonesia Investment Authority, Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund, on a minority investment in a high end technical production facility.

Diaverum, the world's third largest independent renal care providers, in its sale from Bridgepoint to M42, an Abu Dhabi-based tech-enabled healthcare company.

The Alvogen Group (a portfolio of CVC) in relation to the sale of the its CEE business to Zentiva and the merger of Alvotech, Alvogen's biosimilar platform focused on the development and manufacture of biosimilar medicines, with a Nasdaq-listed SPAC formed by Oaktree.

Mid Europa Partners on the sale of Knjaz Miloš, the leading producer of mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages to Karlovarské minerální vody a.s (KMV) and PepsiCo, and the sale of Bambi, the leading biscuit producer in the Baltic countries to the Coca Cola Group.

Bridgepoint on its £750 million acquisition of Zenith, the UK's largest independent vehicle leasing business, from HgCapital.
