Hakan Eraslan

Hakan has got 3 years of independent audit and 14 years of experience of tax advisory, tax audit, tax outsourcing in various industries. Prior to joining the firm, he worked at one of the big fours where he worked for the Energy, Utilities & Mining group and he gained extensive experience in the petroleum and lubricants industry. Apart from energy industry he has also worked for numerous companies in marine, production, tobacco and other sectors. Hakan has gained extensive experience in tax advising on company structures, tax modelling, bilateral tax treaties, foreign investments, litigation, special consumption taxation, tax reporting and tax auditing and carried tax due diligences for major companies such as BP, Total, Petrol Ofisi, BAT, Ontex, TPAO, Transocean, CMA CGM, Nippon Oil, Biwater, Prista, Tiway, Messer, BTC Pipeline, BTC, EWE, Skretting, SHV, Helm, CHC, Lukoil, Tricon, Vestas, Gulfmark, Hutchison Westport, Sybolt, BP Shipping. Hakan has previously worked for Mitsui, Mitsubihsi, Nippon, JGC Corporation, ABB, and Enbasys in some Turkish projects. During 1999-2005, Hakan was seconded to BP tax outsourcing project where he led the tax outsourcing team which performed tax compliance, tax advisory, tax reporting, cash flow forecast and payment control and all other tax works of BP Turkey group. Hakan has got sworn financial advisor (YMM) license since May 2010 and he holds Independent Audit License at Capital Markets. He has a educator license from TURMOB (Chamber of CPA and Sworn Financial Advisors) on the New Turkish Commercial Code.
