Biography
Overview
Grégoire Baudry is an associate in the Real Estate team of our Global Mergers & Acquisitions practice at White & Case.
He concentrates on both private and public real estate law, as well as in construction, urban planning and environmental law. Grégoire's practice focuses notably on the acquisition, disposal and development of various types of real estate assets, the conclusion and negotiation of leases, and the development of wind and solar farm projects.
Grégoire advises both French groups and foreign investors.
Before joining the Firm in July 2021, he was an intern in several high profile law firms and listed companies in Paris.

Representation of Mercedes-Benz on the cooperation agreement for its strategic partnership with energy company E.ON for the establishment and operation of the new Europe-wide Mercedes-Benz charging network, which enables fast, safe and environmentally friendly charging of electric vehicles.
Representation of TIP Group, leading European provider of B-to-B truck and trailer transportation services, in its strategic acquisition of French group SOFRAL.
Representation of Macquarie Asset Management, in a consortium with British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) and MEAG Munich Ergo Asset Management GmbH (MEAG) in the acquisition of Reden Solar from InfraVia Capital Partners and Eurazeo for a valuation of 2.5 billion euros).
Representation of the Casino group in the signature, alongside Tikehau Capital and Bpifrance, of a unilateral promise to purchase with Ardian, via its Infrastructure activity, in view of the sale of a majority stake in GreenYellow, the energy subsidiary of the Casino group, for an enterprise value of 1.4 billion euros and an equity value of 1.1 billion euros.
Representation of Bain Capital Credit, L.P., on the sale process undertaken in the context of the reorganization procedure initiated against Capena Hotel, Capena Office and Capena Parking for the acquisition and redevelopment of the Mercuriales towers, located in Bagnolet.
Representation of Altitude in the sale of 90% of the capital of the promoter Cap Horn Promotion to the Demathieu Bard group and the reinvestment of the management. Cap Horn Promotion has a total activity of 30 to 40 million euros and a backlog of 160 million euros.
Representation of Société Générale Assurances and BNP Paribas Cardif in the acquisition from Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield of a 45% stake in Westfield Carré Sénart for an appraised value of approximately 1 billion euros.
Representation to Iberdrola Renouvelables France in the acquisition, subject to conditions precedent, from the Solvay group of a 170-hectare site to be rehabilitated, which should allow the development of a photovoltaic power plant with approximately 100,000 modules and an installed capacity of nearly 75 GWh per year, making it one of the largest installations of this type in Europe.
