Overview

Franciszek Koszelnik is an associate in the White & Case Dispute Resolution, International Arbitration and White Collar practices. He provides legal assistance to clients in court, arbitration and administrative proceedings. He focuses his practice on complex, cross-border commercial litigation, particularly in the new tech industry, as well as recognition and enforcement of foreign, both intra- and infra-EU judgments. The cases he has dealt with include several platform liability litigations, legal malpractice, medical products, post-M&A and construction (FIDIC) claims. He has notably advised on a multi-billion euro enforcement of a foreign judgment against sanctioned entities.

Prior to joining White & Case Franciszek gained experience in the dispute resolution departments of Polish law firms, as well as a new tech boutique law firm, all based in Warsaw.

One of the largest electricity producers in Europe: representation of one of the largest electricity producers in Europe on a complex, legal malpractice dispute resulting from the purchase of a renewable energy project in Poland.

A global pharmaceutical company: representation in a product liability litigation concerning damages for health impairments allegedly caused by a vaccine.

A state-owned, global energy company: advising on state immunity, jurisdiction and litigation risks under Polish civil procedural law.

A Polish contractor: representation of a Polish contractor in parallel court proceedings relating to the construction of a coal power plant in Poland (€2.5 billion project).

A contractor: representation of a contractor (a Polish company from a Spanish construction group) in a dispute related to the construction of the S6 national road in Poland (FIDIC Red Book).
