Biography

Overview

Fernanda's practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and cross-border finance transactions. Additionally, she is actively involved in antitrust matters, advising both national and international clients in merger control procedures. She has developed experience in complex domestic and international corporate and financial transactions that allows her to provide legal advice on private law matters.

Fernanda also advises clients on corporate governance issues and general corporate matters, including the negotiation of joint ventures, the corporate restructuring of domestic and international companies, as well as regulatory filings required for M&A transactions and day- to- day operation of local companies.

She has participated in stock and assets transactions in a wide range of markets, including retail, infrastructure, real estate, banking and medical services. She has provided expert input on regulatory and market/country risks for the establishment, operation and mergers and acquisitions of financial institutions in Mexico.

Fernanda is fluent in both English and French and her native language is Spanish. Before joining White & Case, she worked for an international law firm.
