Biography
Overview
Farah is an associate based in Cairo. Before joining White & Case, Farah worked at an international law firm in Abu Dhabi and New York and worked at an international law firm in Cairo.
Farah has a range of experience advising clients on capital market transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate advisory work.
Experience
Represented CI Capital Investment Banking, First Abu Dhabi Bank and Renaissance Capital in connection with the listing and initial public offering of Taaleem Management Services, a leading higher education company which operates Nahda University.
Represented African Export-Import Bank on the issuance of $600 million notes due 2026 and $700 million notes due 2031 under its global medium term note programme.
Represented Qatar Petroleum as the issuer on its debut four-tranche offering of bonds worth $12 billion. The notes comprise $1.5 billion bonds due 2026, $3.5 billion bonds due 2031, $3.5 billion bonds due 2041 and $4 billion bonds due 2051.
Represented a number of institutional and sovereign investors in connection with the acquisition of limited partnership interests in various flagship private equity funds as well as venture capital investments and acquisitions in the US biotech sector.*
Represented 3M in connection with its acquisition of a US based medical transcription services company for a total enterprise value of $1 billion.*
Represented selling shareholders on the registration of their shares in connection with a secondary offering on NYSE.*
Represented a leading snack food company in Egypt, in connection with its rights issue. The shares of the issuer are listed on the Egyptian Exchange and the Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) are listed on the London Stock Exchange. *
Represented a leading telecommunication company in connection with its global acquisition of another leading telecommunication company for a total value of approximately $16 billion.*
Represented international clients in the real estate, FMCG, digital solutions and telecommunications sectors in connection with global mergers and acquisitions.*
Represented Egyptian issuers in connection with their listings and Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) programs.*
