Biography
Overview
Fabian Mayer advises clients on mergers & acquisitions and corporate matters. He is part of our M&A practice group with a particular focus on transactions in the energy and technology sectors.
He has extensive experience in advising on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and joint ventures.
Prior to joining White & Case, he worked for a leading international law firm and a boutique law firm in Berlin for many years, advising in particular private equity clients.
Experience
Advised Georg Fischer AG, a Swiss industrial company listed on SIX Swiss Exchange, on the divestment of its Machining Solutions Division to United Grinding Group, a Swiss-based manufacturer of grinding technology.
Advised Mirova, a global asset management company dedicated to sustainable investing and an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, on its €480 million investment in RP Global to accelerate pan-European renewable energy development.
Advised Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), a producer of premium aluminium, on the acquisition of the German aluminium recycling company Leichtmetall Aluminium Gießerei Hannover GmbH (Leichtmetall).
Advised Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. (Oaktree) and Cornerstone Investment Management L.P. (Cornerstone) on the sale of Avenga to KKCG, a European investment and innovation group.
Advised EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG on the sale of a 24.95 percent minority shareholding in transmission system operator TransnetBW Gmbh (TransnetBW) to Südwest Konsortium Holding GmbH.
Advised the international healthcare and diagnostic services company Medicover on the acquisition of the dental service provider MeinDentist*
Advised Arcadis, a leading global design & consultancy organization for natural and built assets, on its acquisition of all shares in Giftge Consult GmbH, a leading consulting and engineering company for energy transition solutions in Germany*
Advised home24 SE on its acquisition of homeware specialist BUTLERS*
Advised Discovery Life Sciences on the acquisition of TARGOS Molecular Pathology GmbH*
Advised the growth equity firm Turn/River on its €315 million strategic investment in Redwood Software, a leading provider of cloud-based business and IT process automation solutions*
