Biography

Overview

Ennely is an Associate in White & Case's Commercial Litigation Group, specializing in international litigation. She represents and advises private companies, financial institutions, and foreign sovereigns and their agencies or instrumentalities in high stakes litigation in federal courts and international tribunals.

Ennely has represented clients in litigation in US federal courts, US bankruptcy courts, and before arbitral tribunals constituted under the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). Her experience includes actions brought under the Defend Trade Secrets Act (DTSA), Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), Foreign Sovereigns Immunities Act (FSIA), and 28 USC § 1782 for discovery in aid of foreign proceedings. Ennely maintains an active pro bono practice in the protection of civil rights and human rights, specifically in § 1983 civil rights disputes. She also provides guidance to public international law NGOs on mediation and negotiation initiatives.

While at Harvard Law School, Ennely served as Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard International Law Journal. In 2023, she interned for a human rights NGO in The Hague, Netherlands, where she worked with officials at the International Criminal Court to advance research on the prosecution of the crime of aggression. And in 2024, she was selected to attend a prestigious national security conference in Brussels and Berlin, where she sharpened her diplomacy skills and met with NATO and EU government officials to discuss recent trends in transatlantic security.
