Elle Illingworth
Biography
Overview
Elle is an associate within the EMEA Private Equity Team in our Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and focuses primarily on private equity transactions and advising sponsor-held portfolio companies from buy-out to exit and beyond.
Elle qualified in 2020 after completing our two year trainee solicitor programme. She has spent time working in the Debt Finance, Employment, Compensation and Benefits and Disputes departments in London.
Elle has also spent time on secondment with the legal team at Blackstone Credit (formely known as GSO Capital Partners), and with the EMEA Debt Finance Team in London.
Experience
Representation of GRIDSERVE Holdings Limited (GRIDSERVE) in connection with its £80 million fundraise through the issue of convertible loan notes to TPG.
Representation of Mid Europa Partners on its acquisition of Sage sp. z o.o., who provide accounting software services to small and medium enterprises in Poland, from the Sage Group Plc.
Representation of Seplat Petroleum Development Company plc as bidder in a public takeover of Eland Oil & Gas plc by way of scheme of arrangement.
Representation of various financial sponsors and their portfolio companies in connection with the implementation of and amendment to their management incentive schemes.
