Diego García Adánez
Biography
Overview
Diego is a Spanish lawyer working in White & Case's EU competition law practice since March 2022.
Diego has experience in multiple sectors, including power cables, oil & gas, agriculture and financials industry, in the framework of antitrust and merger control. As part of his role, he prepared submissions to the European Commission and several national competition authorities.
Before joining White & Case, Diego worked in the Madrid and Brussels offices of other international law firms. He formerly completed a stage at the EU General Court in the Chamber of Judge Buttigieg.
Diego's relevant experience includes: (i) Advising on antitrust risks in the context of mergers and acquisitions, (ii) Supporting on several multi-jurisdictional merger control assessments, (iii) Advising on antitrust infringement proceedings and (iv) Advising on the anti-competitive risks of particular business strategies (including distribution agreements).
