Overview
David Marder is a member of the Firm's Antitrust/ Competition practice group.
He advises clients in various industries on a broad range of German and European competition law matters, especially merger control and cartel matters.
David Marder joined White & Case in 2019 and gained substantial work experience in the Düsseldorf and New York offices during his legal clerkship and as a legal assistant.
Experience
Symrise AG
Advised and defended Symrise in connection with the antitrust proceedings against leading fragrance manufacturers and represented Symrise in a suit before the General Court of the European Union in which Symrise is contesting the legality of the EC's surprise inspection authorization.
Autotalks Ltd
Advised Autotalks Ltd, a fabless semiconductor company devoted to vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications for manned and autonomous vehicles, on its sale to Qualcomm Incorporated.
Vanderlande Industries Holding B.V.
Representation of Vanderlande Industries Holding B.V., a 100% subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation and industry leader in the intralogistics sector specialized in the warehousing, parcel and airport segments, on its acquisition of Siemens' airport logistics business at an enterprise value of EUR 300m.
AirFrance – KLM
Advised Air France-KLM, a leading global airline, on the acquisition of a 19.9 percent non-controlling stake in the share capital of Scandinavia's leading airline Scandinavian Airlines (SAS AB).
ABN AMRO
Advised ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (ABN AMRO) on its acquisition of Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe Privatbank AG (Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe) from Fosun International Limited, which is subject to regulatory approvals.
