Overview

Clara is an associate in the Firm's Debt Finance practice group in London. Her experience includes advising banks and corporate borrowers on domestic and cross-border acquisition finance and general bank lending.

Clara trained at the Firm and qualified in September 2017. As a trainee, Clara spent time in our Private Equity, Disputes and Debt Finance practice groups and spent 6 months on secondment in our Tokyo office with the Asset and Project Finance team.

Experience

Representation of the mandated lead arranger, the agent and the security trustee in connection with a USD 1,660,000,000 equivalent senior secured term loan facilities to the world's largest soda ash producer, with operations in Türkiye and the United States.

Representation of a global manufacturer and marketer of beauty and related products as borrower in connection with a EUR 200,000,000 English law governed multicurrency revolving facility agreement.

Representation of the sponsors in connection with a EUR 25,000,000 revolving credit facility as part of a refinancing of a multi-national borrower group. The borrower group is a producer of washroom and sanitary facilities.

Representation of the lenders and the agent in connection with a EUR 441,000,000 English law governed first lien facilities agreement including a USD 50,000,000 multicurrency revolving credit facility to an online trading platform borrower with operations in multiple jurisdictions including Sweden, France, USA and the UK.
