Overview

Brian is a local partner in the Firm's Global Mergers & Acquisitions Practice based in Johannesburg. Brian is also 1 of 11 members of the Companies Tribunal (the highest quasi-judicial body to resolve certain company law disputes in South Africa), appointed by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition.

Brian advises on M&A and private equity (specialising in mining and telecommunicaitons), together with equity capital markets and restructuring experience.

Representation of minority shareholders in the exchange of their shares in a Dutch holding company for a combination of cash and shares in, and claims against, a polish property holding company, in a joint venture with such Dutch holding company.
