Barbora Smékalová

Barbora Smékalová is an associate of the Prague office and a member of the Competition team. Barbora joined the Prague office of White & Case during her studies as a legal intern.

Barbora is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Queen Mary University of London and the London School of Economics and Political Science (where her dissertation was on international commercial arbitration); during her studies, she also gained experience in advising clients at the pro bono Queen Mary Legal Advice Centre.

Prior to joining White & Case, Barbora worked as a legal intern for the International Bar Association in The Hague.

At White & Case, Barbora has provided advisory services under the leadership of her senior colleagues to clients on merger filings with both EU and national competition authorities, regulatory matters and dispute resolution.
