- AGIC Capital, a growth-oriented European-Asian private equity firm, in its acquisition of a majority stake, together with key management, in Paris-based Pure Trade, a leading global supply chain solution provider in the premium secondary and promotional packaging space.
- Celestica Inc., the Toronto and NYSE listed electronics design, manufacturing and supply chain solutions provider, in its US$306 million acquisition of PCI Private Limited, a Singaporean-based South East Asian electronics manufacturing and service business, from Platinum Private Equity.
- The Carlyle Group in the acquisition of a US$490 million strategic 20% stake in Piramal Pharma, the pharmaceutical division of Piramal Enterprises Limited, one of India's leading diversified companies, with a presence in financial services, information management and pharmaceuticals.
- The Carlyle Group in its acquisition of a majority stake in SeQuent Scientific Limited, the largest pure-play animal healthcare company in India with global operations.
- Nestlé Waters, the no.1 bottled water company worldwide, in the sale of its water business in the mainland China to Tsingtao Brewery Group Company Limited, China's second-largest beer maker.
