Amrita Mohan
Biography
Overview
Amrita is an Associate in the Firm's Corporate Group based in New York, and focuses her practice on representing corporate clients and private equity funds in connection with domestic and global mergers, acquisitions and equity investments.
Qualified to practice in New York and India, Amrita previously worked as an associate at one of India's leading law firms for five years, with a focus on private equity and venture capital, and corporate advisory work.
Amrita graduated with an LLM from Columbia Law School, where she was a James Kent Scholar, and an Innovation Grantee of the Davis Polk Leadership Initiative. She received her first law degree from GNLU, India, where she was the founder and secretary general of the Model UN Society.
Amrita is actively involved with moot court activities and serves as a judge at the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition (World Championship and Regional Rounds).
