Biography

Overview

Aliya is an associate in the Firm's Global Intellectual Property practice, based in London. Aliya works directly with and advises international and UK-based clients from a diverse range of sectors (including technology, financial institutions, consumer & retail and life sciences & healthcare) on complex commercial IP and technology issues in the context of tech-intensive M&A transactions and commercial projects. Her practice includes advising on the IP and technology elements of cross-border M&A transactions and PE investments, and drafting and negotiating commercial agreements for the acquisition, development and licensing of brands and technology.

Aliya joined White & Case as a trainee, gaining experience in the Firm's Corporate and Intellectual Property practices in London, and the Project Finance practice in the Firm's Paris office. Aliya also completed a secondment to Nestlé UK.
