Overview

Alison Ibendahl is an associate in the Houston office and a member of the Firm's Commercial Litigation group. Alison's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and intellectual property litigation in a variety of industries. She also has experience representing clients in asylum, and other immigration proceedings.

During law school, Alison was a founding member and executive editor for the Notre Dame Journal on Emerging Technologies. She was also an extern for U.S. District Court Judge Jon E. DeGuilio of the Northern District of Indiana.

Prior to law school, Alison worked as a mechanical engineer for a major manufacturer of oil and gas drilling and production equipment for both land and offshore installations.

Recent experience includes:

  • Experian Information Solutions, Inc. — successfully defended Experian in consumer lawsuit alleging violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Obtained a summary judgment win for Experian.*
  • The Proctor & Gamble Company — defended P&G in a patent infringement suit related to teeth whitening technology. Case settled favorably prior to Markman hearing.*
  • SAP SE — defended SAP in trade secret litigation and litigated the related offensive patent infringement suit. Case settled favorably prior to trial.*
