Overview
Aida is an associate in the Project Development and Finance Group with wide-ranging capabilities across project finance, asset finance and banking transactions. She has advised on multiple award-wining energy & infrastructure project financings in Latin America involving ECAs, MLAs and DFIs. She has significant experience in novel renewable energy transactions involving federal programs and incentives in both the US and Latin America. She also regularly advises on acquisitions, leasing and financings in the aviation sector. Aida combines her detailed understanding across sectors and transaction-types to deliver tailored solutions for her clients.

Representation of Banobras and FONADIN on the US$6 billion acquisition financing of an 8.5 GW portfolio of 13 power plants acquired from Iberdrola by an acquisition trust managed by Mexico Infrastructure Partners. This won "Latin America M&A Loan Deal of the Year" by Global Banking & Markets, 2024 "Infrastructure Financing of the Year – Latin America" and "Power Financing of the Year" by Latin Finance 2024.
Representation of Terminal Química Puerto México ("TQPM") on its US$440 million DFI-supported financing of an ethane import terminal and pipeline project to supply Braskem Idesa's Etileno XXI petrochemical complex in Mexico. This won "Latin America Oil & Gas Deal of the Year – Other" by IJGlobal 2024.
