Adilet is an Associate in Astana office who specializes in corporate law and M&A. His main area of practice includes corporate and commercial law, M&A, business structuring and investments. He has a wide experience in advising the clients in oil and gas, subsoil use, energy, retail and broader consumer markets sectors. He has a broad experience in due diligence processes.
Prior to joining White & Case he has worked as an associate at one of the leading law firms in Kazakhstan and the Big4 organization.
Experience
Represented a US-based investment conglomerate in the pre-investment phase of entering the Kazakhstan telecom market, conducting full-scope legal due diligence of telecommunications companies. *
Provided guidance to an American multinational technology corporation for creating a white paper on existing limitations in cloud computing growth in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. *
Represented a major manufacturer of solar modules (panels) and an international project developer during the M&A process, including legal due diligence of RES companies, legal structuring, and drafting of transactional documents. *
Represented a private fund during the acquisition of shares of a subsoil user in Kazakhstan, securing antimonopoly clearance and government consent. *
Advised a major American consulting and engineering firm on a project focused on identifying key obstacles in renewable energy projects' development. *
Engaged as a head of the streamline in a project involving the digital transformation of a government body in the Republic of Kazakhstan and its affiliated entities, including the reengineering of business processes within the legal services sector. *
Advised major international and Kazakhstan-based companies on business activity planning and structure in Kazakhstan, particularly focusing on civil, corporate, regulatory (antimonopoly, currency control, and advertising), and e-commerce aspects. *
