Representative Company-Side Experience*

  • Represented ConvergeOne Holdings, Inc. and certain affiliates in their prepackaged chapter 11 cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, eliminating over $1.6 billion in funded debt.
  • Representing Zachry Holdings, Inc. and certain affiliates in their chapter 11 cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, successfully resolving complex disputes related to a multibillion dollar liquefied natural gas export project and proposing to pay all trade claims in full.
  • Represented USA Gymnastics in its chapter 11 case in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana, culminating in a $380 million global settlement of tort claims asserted against USA Gymnastics, the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, and their insurers.
  • Represented GT Real Estate Holdings, LLC in its chapter 11 case in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware to facilitate the wind-down of a proposed mixed-use real estate development planned to include a practice facility for the Carolina Panthers, as well as the resolution of all related claims.

  • Represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the chapter 11 cases of Celsius Network LLC in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, acting as the fiduciary for 1.7 million account users that used the Celsius platform before its bankruptcy filing.
  • Represented the Official Committee of Retirees in the Title III cases for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, acting as fiduciary for 167,000 public-sector retirees who were owed approximately $50 billion in connection with the funding of their accrued pensions.
  • Represented the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the chapter 11 case of Amyris, Inc. in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
  • Represented an ad hoc group of creditors of Team Health Holdings, Inc. in connection with refinancing transactions resulting in the payment in full of over $700 million in senior notes.
  • Represented McKesson Corporation in connection with the chapter 11 cases filed by Purdue Pharma and Mallinckrodt Inc.
  • Represented a confidential bidder seeking to acquire FTX's U.S. exchange assets in connection with launching a new, regulatorily-compliant cryptocurrency exchange.

Pro Bono

  • Represented the respondents pro bono in City of Chicago, Illinois v. Fulton, 592 U.S. 154 (2021), regarding whether the City of Chicago's policy of impounding vehicles of consumer debtors for unpaid traffic tickets violated the Bankruptcy Code's automatic stay.
