Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Capital Markets Practice and Financial Institutions Global Industry Group with the addition of Yannick Adler as a partner in Frankfurt.
"There is strong and ongoing demand from clients in EMEA, particularly investment banks and private equity sponsors, for advice on New York law-governed finance transactions including high yield bonds and other leveraged finance deals," said White & Case partner John Vetterli, head of the Firm's Global Capital Markets Practice. "Yannick's addition sends a clear signal that we aim to grow our role advising clients on these important matters."
Yannick advises leading investment banks and issuers on US corporate finance and capital markets transactions, including cross-border high yield debt and equity offerings, as well as a variety of corporates on public and private mergers and acquisitions. He joins White & Case from Cravath, Swaine & Moore, where he was European Counsel.
"Yannick is an experienced and versatile transactional lawyer," said White & Case partner Laura Sizemore, Regional Section Head, EMEA Capital Markets. "His strong and established client relationships have clear synergies with our existing capital markets practice in EMEA and he represents an exciting addition to our successful team in the region."
Partner Oliver Brettle, a member of White & Case's global Executive Committee, said: "Working alongside lawyers qualified in other major jurisdictions, we have built a leading New York law capital markets practice in EMEA with New York law qualified partners in Dubai, Frankfurt, Helsinki, London, Milan and Paris, and Yannick adds further strength to this regional team as well as our successful and market leading Frankfurt-based capital markets group in Germany."
