White & Case Successfully Advises Air Austral Leading to End of Investigation by French Competition Authority

Global law firm White & Case LLP has successfully represented Air Austral following a formal investigation in the commercial airline industry, launched in 2018 by the French Competition Authority.

"This case underlines the Firm's ability to successfully advise clients on antitrust matters and during investigations led by competition authorities," said White & Case partner Yann Utzschneider," who led the team advising Air Austral.

Following investigation proceedings conducted at Air Austral's premises in November 2019, the general rapporteur of the French Competition Authority decided to close the investigation on 3 July 2020. This is extremely rare at this stage of the proceedings.
