Global law firm White & Case LLP continues to expand its Global Project Development and Finance Practice with the addition of Armando Rivera Jacobo as a partner in New York.
"We are thrilled to welcome Armando to our growing global practice," said Mark Castillo-Bernaus, Global Head of White & Case's Project Development and Finance Practice. "We are dedicated to adding new talent to serve our clients' complex needs and support the goals of our practice in the US and globally."
Rivera Jacobo has experience in development and financing transactions, specifically in public-private infrastructure projects (PPPs) in the US and in Latin America. He represents sponsors, infrastructure funds, commercial banks, institutional lenders, contractors and secondary market investors in the tender and acquisition of greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects.
"Armando's specialized infrastructure experience will enable us to further expand our capabilities across the Americas," said Nandan Nelivigi, Regional Section Head of the Firm's Americas Project Development and Finance Practice. "He will work closely with Dolly Mirchandani, a partner in New York and a leading infrastructure lawyer widely recognized in the market for her expertise."
"I'm excited to join such a diverse and truly deep bench of infrastructure and other project lawyers," said Rivera Jacobo. "White & Case's commitment to high-quality client service and thought leadership makes the perfect platform for representing all sorts of players in the complex, and sometimes challenging, world of infrastructure development and financing."
