Global law firm White & Case LLP has appointed Isabel Parker to the role of Chief Innovation Officer and Jason Hill to the role of Chief Marketing Officer.

"Jason and Isabel's superior credentials and track records give us confidence that marketing and innovation will continue to be strategic contributors to the Firm's growth, " said White & Case Chair, Heather McDevitt. "We welcome their leadership and fresh perspectives."

Jason has extensive experience running global marketing organizations, strengthening top global brands, reaching discerning and influential audiences, supporting recruiting and creating programs that drive revenue. Based in New York, he will lead the Firm's efforts aimed at driving growth and enhancing its external reputation through oversight of branding and creative services, business development, client service programs, marketing technology and the communications teams.

Jason joins from Goldman Sachs, where he was Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Global Marketing. Previously, he held leadership roles in brand marketing and media at BlackRock and GE.

Author of the book, Successful Digital Transformation in Law Firms: A Question of Culture, Isabel is based in the Firm's London office. She was previously a partner with Deloitte and Chief Legal Innovation Officer with Freshfields. Isabel will lead the Firm's Business Intelligence, Practice Technology, Research and Market Intelligence, and Knowledge Management functions, as well as global initiatives that harness talent and data to drive innovation and new technologies that benefit clients.

"Innovation is a global challenge, and White & Case is unafraid to break new ground," said Isabel. "I am excited to connect the Firm's broad portfolio of analysts, researchers and technologists with client feedback to build solutions that meet our clients' most critical needs.

"Any legal technology, including GenAI, is only powerful in the hands of knowledgeable and experienced lawyers," Isabel added. "White & Case is extraordinarily well positioned to capitalize on the promise of the rapidly evolving legal tech stack, and offer new and unique services for clients and the market more broadly."

Jason said, "White & Case has demonstrated its belief that marketing is accretive to building a world-renowned brand and contributing to commercial growth. Marketing today requires an understanding of technology and messaging, data and creativity—and marketing leaders need a foot in both camps to drive reputation and revenue together. White & Case is benefiting from long-term strategic investments in its global marketing, business development, technology and innovation teams. I am excited to build on the Firm's considerable success, bringing my experience from an adjacent industry similarly driven by client service and thought leadership."

Isabel and Jason are assuming roles previously held by Michael Hertz. As White & Case CMO since 2010, Michael also oversaw the innovation portfolio beginning in 2020. He is transitioning to a Senior Advisor role with the Firm.

Heather added, "We are deeply grateful to Michael for his years of dedicated service, during which he played an integral role in elevating our brand and driving innovation across the Firm. As we welcome Jason and Isabel, I am confident that their diverse experiences and perspectives will further elevate our ability to deliver exceptional value to clients and lead in a rapidly evolving legal landscape."
