Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Zadig & Voltaire and its majority shareholder Thierry Gillier on the acquisition by Peninsula Holding, a European Private Equity investment management firm, of a stake in Zadig & Voltaire's capital.
Founded in 1997 by Thierry Gillier, Zadig & Voltaire is a leading modern luxury brand. With a strong identity based on knitwear, cashmere and luxurious materials, the brand has grown in all segments of the ready-to wear, accessories and perfumes categories.
Peninsula Holding is an investment management firm that manages and advises a number of Luxembourg-based investment vehicles with the aim of investing in Private Equity deals in European countries.
The White & Case team in Paris which advised on the transaction was led by partners Saam Golshani and Guillaume Vitrich and included partner Yann Utzschneider, with support from counsel Orion Berg and associates Alexandre Balat, Tiphanie Levassort and Alexandre Martin.
