White & Case Advises Wood & Company on €450 Million Acquisition of Majority Stake in AUPARK Bratislava

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Wood & Company, a.s., the leading investment bank focused on European Emerging markets, on its acquisition in a joint-venture with Tatra Asset Management, správ. spol., a. s. of a majority stake in AUPARK a.s. from Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, a leading global developer and operator of premium retail assets.

The €450 million deal, which is the largest ever real estate acquisition in the Slovak market to date, is subject to the customary regulatory approvals and it is expected to close during the first half of 2021. AUPARK a.s. owns the premium Aupark Bratislava shopping centre, a well-known retail destination in Bratislava.
