Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) on the international component of its initial public offering (IPO) which closed on July 31.
"The ability of Israeli companies, such as TASE, to access the international capital markets in connection with a public offering in Israel meaningfully broadens Israeli companies' access to capital," said White & Case partner Colin Diamond, who led the Firm's deal team. "This is an important transaction for TASE, which raises its profile internationally and sets the stage for its future growth. It also adds to White & Case's strong track record of advising on innovative corporate and capital markets transactions in Israel."
The IPO consisted of a public offering in Israel and listing on TASE, together with a global offering that included a Rule 144A component marketed in the United States.
The IPO was only the second Israeli public offering listed in Tel Aviv and internationally marketed pursuant to Rule 144A. Jefferies LLC served as initial purchaser and underwriter.
The transaction was led by partner Colin Diamond (New York) and included counsel Doron Loewinger (London) and associates Kathy Shao, Aviv Lazar, Yana Shneyderman and Kate Warrick (New York) and Claudia Hasbun (London).
