White & Case advises Starwood Capital Group on Statuto Group's €330 million financing for renovation of historic Danieli Hotel in Venice

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised US investment fund Starwood Capital Group on the €330 million financing for the renovation of the Hotel Danieli in Venice, an historic and iconic luxury asset in Statuto Group's real estate portfolio.

The transaction, implemented through the issuance of certain non-convertible bonds listed on the 'Third Market' of the Vienna Stock Exchange, was organized by the US investment fund King Street Capital Management L.P. with the participation of Starwood Capital Group.

The White & Case team that advised on the transaction included partners Justin Jowitt (London), Iacopo Canino, Gianluca Fanti and Giuseppe Barra Caracciolo (all Milan) and associate Francesco Pirisi (all Milan).
