White & Case advises on Phoenix Holdings shares sale

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Centerbridge Partners and Gallatin Point Capital on the sale of up to 21.5 percent of their shares in Phoenix Holdings to investment firms including Affinity Partners, Delek Group and other leading international institutional investors.

"We have supported Centerbridge and Gallatin from the time of their initial investment through to today and witnessed the successes of the Phoenix under their control," said White & Case partner and head of the Israel Country Practice Daniel Turgel, who led the Firm's deal team. "This transaction again demonstrates that Israel is open for business with leading international investors remaining attracted to its robust markets."

Phoenix Holdings is one of the leading Israeli financial service companies. With approximately US$130 billion in assets under management, Phoenix manages financial activities including asset management, insurance, distribution, and credit.
