White & Case Advises Pernod Ricard on Acquisition of Remaining Stake in Monkey 47

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Pernod Ricard, the number two worldwide producer of wine and spirits, on the acquisition of the remaining stake in gin producer Monkey 47.

Pernod Ricard acquired a majority stake in Monkey 47 during 2016, and has now acquired the remaining stakes held by its founders, including Alexander Stein, who will continue to advise Monkey 47 on its ongoing development.

The White & case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Ingrid Wijnmalen (Frankfurt) and included partners Bodo Bender, Frank-Karl Heuchemer (both Frankfurt) and Tilman Kuhn (Düsseldorf), local partner Michael Leicht (Frankfurt) and associates Marianna Frenkel (Frankfurt) and Thilo Wienke (Düsseldorf).
