White & Case advises on OCI Global’s US$2 billion GMTN programme and US$600 million Notes issuance

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised BofA Securities, J.P. Morgan and MUFG, as Arrangers and Dealers, on the establishment of a Rule 144A/Regulation S US$2 billion global medium term note (GMTN) programme for OCI Global, guaranteed by Iowa Fertilizer Company LLC, and on a US$600 million Notes issuance thereunder.
"Advising on these significant transactions represents further milestones in our long relationship with the managers and OCI Global," said White & Case partner James Greene, who co-led the Firm's deal team. "Our team supported the banks and the company's team on a successful completion of OCI Global's debut in the investment grade bond market."
White & Case advised the Managers, including BofA Securities, J.P. Morgan, MUFG, Barclays, BNP Paribas, Citigroup, Credit Agricole, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Mashreqbank, Morgan Stanley, Rabo Securities, Société Générale and Standard Chartered Bank, on the issuance of US$600 million 6.700% Notes due 2033 under the GMTN programme. The Notes were offered pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S and are listed on Euronext Dublin.
OCI Global is a leading producer and distributor of nitrogen, methanol and hydrogen products, listed on the Euronext Amsterdam stock exchange with a market capitalisation of €6.2 billion.
