White & Case Advises Nurture Education Group on Acquisition of G8 Education's Singapore Business

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Nurture Education Group (Nurture), an early childhood education business in Singapore and a subsidiary of the Babilou Family Group, one of the world's leading private operators of preschool education centres, on the acquisition by Nurture of 100 percent of G8 Education Singapore Pte. Ltd. (G8 Singapore).

G8 Singapore owns 17 early learning centres and has a further 18 franchised early learning centres.

Established in 2003, Nurture is one of Singapore's largest preschool operators, with more than 30 early childhood education centres under four different brands prior to this acquisition. G8 Singapore is the Singapore business of G8 Education Limited, one of Australia's largest leading providers of early years childcare and education facilities. 

With the acquisition of G8 Singapore, Nurture will now operate more than 45 early childhood education centres in Singapore.

White & Case also advised Babilou Family Group on its acquisition of a majority shareholding in Nurture in 2018.

The White & Case team in Singapore which advised on the transaction was led by partner Jon Bowden and included associates Rob Whitworth, Lisa Yeo, Trishala Naidu, Joey Lim and Kian Newlyn.
