Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Mid Europa Partners (Mid Europa) on the sale of 24 percent of the issued share capital of Waberer's International Nyrt (Waberer's), a Hungarian-based provider of truckload transportation, to Trevelin Holding Zrt, the Hungarian-based member of Indotek Group.
"Mid Europa is a long standing client that we have successfully advised on a number of strategically important acquisitions and disposals over the years," said White & Case partner Ken Barry, who co-led the Firm's deal team. "This transaction follows a period of growth and internationalization at Waberer's, enabled and accelerated by Mid Europa's investments in the company."
Mid Europa has also granted a call option to Indotek over Mid Europa's remaining 47.99 percent of the issued share capital of Waberer's.
Waberer's is a leading European provider of international full truckload transportation and a market leader in domestic freight and complex logistics services in Hungary. Mid Europa listed Waberer's on the Budapest Stock Exchange in 2017 in a floatation valuing the company at nearly £250 million.
The White & Case team in London which advised on the transaction was led by partners Ken Barry and Philip Broke and included associates Will Summers, Joe Bradley, Oji Adoh, Matthew Chalk and Emma Roker.
