White & Case Advises Mid Europa on Merging of Portfolio Company CMC with M+ Group

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Mid Europa Partners (Mid Europa) on the merging of its portfolio company CMC İletişim ve Çağrı Merkezi Hizmetleri A.Ş. (CMC) with Meritus Upravljanje d.o.o. (M+ Group) in return for a 30 percent equity stake in the combined group.

"Mid Europa are a cornerstone client of our global private equity practice and a leading buyout investor in Central and Eastern Europe, and we continue to work with them from London, Turkey and across the Firm on a cross-border basis."

M+ Group is a regional business process outsourcing service provider and is a subsidiary of the company Meritus ulaganja d.d. (ZSE: MRUL). CMC is the largest independent outsourced call center and customer management services provider in Turkey, with more than 4,000 employees. Following completion of the transaction, M+ Group is expected to emerge as the leading regional contact center and business process outsourcing services provider in South Eastern Europe.

The White & Case team that advised on the transaction was led by partners Ken Barry (London) and Emre Ozsar (Istanbul) and included local partner Ceren Sen (Istanbul), associates Joe Bradley and Oliver Wilson (both London) and Tolga Tezel, Ege Gulec, and Caglar Senol (all Istanbul).
