White & Case Advises M&G European Property Fund on €148 Million Acquisition of Eleven Housing Companies

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised M&G European Property Fund on its approximately €148 million acquisition of eleven housing companies in Finland, from a joint venture of YIT and Ålandsbanken as well as Ålandsbanken Housing Fund.

The transaction represents M&G's entry in the Finnish residential market via a transaction through which it acquires a portfolio of compact studios and one-bedroom apartments.

M&G European Property Fund is a fund investing in a diversified portfolio of commercial real estate across Europe.

The White & Case team in Helsinki which advised on the transaction was led by partner Timo Airisto and included associates Asta Tukiainen and Samuel Salmivirta.
