White & Case advises managers on update of Almarai’s US$2 billion Trust Certificate Issuance Programme and issuance of US$750 million Trust Certificates

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the arrangers and dealers on the update of Almarai's US$2 billion Trust Certificate Issuance Programme (the Programme).
"The White & Case team has advised the arrangers and dealers on an Ijara trust certificate issuance that represents a very successful return to the sukuk market by Almarai," said White & Case partner Debashis Dey, who led the Firm's deal team.
White & Case also advised the arrangers and dealers on the issuance of US$750 million Trust Certificates due 2033 under the Programme.
Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC and J.P. Morgan Securities plc acted as dealers. HSBC Bank plc and Standard Chartered Bank acted as global coordinators, arrangers and dealers.
