White & Case Advises Macquarie Infrastructure Partners on Acquisition of Lakeshore Recycling Systems

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Macquarie Infrastructure Partners on its acquisition of Lakeshore Recycling Systems, the largest private waste company in Illinois, specializing in recycling and waste diversion programs, roll-off container services, portable restroom rentals, mulch distribution, street sweeping, on-site storage options and comprehensive waste removal.
The deal closed on August 31, 2021, through the Macquarie Infrastructure Partners V fund (MIP V). MIP V is an Americas-focused, US$6.9 billion unlisted infrastructure fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management. Macquarie Asset Management provides specialist investment solutions to clients across a range of capabilities, including infrastructure and renewables, real estate, agriculture, transportation finance, private credit, equities, fixed income, and multi-asset solutions.
