Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the lenders on a senior term and revolving credit facility entered into by Ambienta SGR to finance the acquisition of Calpeda S.p.A., a global manufacturer of pumps, motors and systems for the integrated water cycle.
Calpeda S.p.A. has been integrated into Wateralia S.p.A., an industrial holding company established by Ambienta in 2021 for the acquisition of Caprari S.p.A.
The pool of lenders was comprised of Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, Banco BPM, Crédit Agricole Italia and Intesa Sanpaolo.
The White & Case team in Milan that advised on the transaction included partner Iacopo Canino, local partner Bianca Caruso, associate Stefano Bellani and lawyer Elvira Ricotta.
