Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Eurazeo, through Eurazeo Transition Infrastructure Fund as an existing investor, and Bpifrance through its Large Venture fund, on a €304 million fundraising for European electric vehicle fast-charging network Electra.
The transaction is the largest ever in the French electric charging sector and the second largest ever in Europe. It will allow Electra to pursue its ambition of installing 15,000 charging points in Europe by 2030.
The new fundraising marks the arrival of leading investors, Dutch pension fund PGGM and Bpifrance, and renewed support from existing investors, in particular Eurazeo, as well as RIVE Private Investment, Serena and the SNCF Group via 574 Invest.
The White & Case team in Paris which advised on the transaction was led by partner Xavier Petet and included associate Clément Cenreaud.
