White & Case Advises Kentech on Acquisition of Oil & Gas Business of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Kentech Group, an investee company of leading energy investment firm Blue Water Energy, on its agreement to acquire the oil & gas business of SNC-Lavalin Group Inc.'s Resources Division.

The acquisition, structured as an acquisition of both shares and assets, is a complex, multi-jurisdictional transaction, involving operations in over 20 jurisdictions. The combined group will have a global workforce of over 10,000 people with a sales pipeline of over US$7 billion and projected 2021 pro forma revenue of US$1 billion. The transaction is subject to regulatory and other customary approvals and is expected to close in the second quarter of 2021.
