White & Case Advises on INWIT’s €500 Million First Sustainability Linked Financing

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Infrastrutture Wireless Italiane S.p.A. (INWIT) on a €500 million sustainability-linked term loan granted by Mediobanca S.p.A., acting as coordinating bank, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti S.p.A., Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. and UniCredit S.p.A.

INWIT is Italy’s major tower operator providing widespread coverage throughout the country and hosting the transmission equipment for all main national operators.

The transaction represents the first ever financing linked to key sustainability indicators granted to INWIT.

The White & Case team in Milan which advised on the transaction comprised partners Iacopo Canino and Gianluca Fanti, local partner Piero de Mattia and lawyer Luca Misseroni.
